Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is ready to quit Stoke City this week, according to the Mail Online.
The Cameroon international is seeking a move abroad before Friday’s transfer deadline with interest coming in from Champions League clubs.
His five goals in thirty league appearances were not enough to help the Potters retain their Premier League status last season and he has not been named in any of Gary Rowett’s matchday squads so far this term.
Prior to his move to the Bet 365 Stadium, the twenty-nine-year-old spent three seasons with Schalke, where he scored twenty-two times in one hundred and five games in all competitions.
He scored the same number of goals across three seasons with FC Mainz while he began his professional career with Hamburg.
Internationally, he has been capped forty-five times for his country, scoring thirteen goals and was part of the squads that attended the 2010 and 2014 World Cup finals.
