Competition: Premier League
Market: Hughton to be next WBA manager
Odds: 7/2 @ Bet 365
Former Newcastle United, Birmingham City and Norwich City manager Chris Hughton is the odds-on favourite to become the next manager of West Bromwich Albion. Hughton, 55, found himself sacked from Norwich near the end of the 2013/14 season, but could be making his return back in the Premier League.
With Pepe Mel having left the Midlands side at the end of the campaign, while managing to keep them up in his short tenure, Hughton is believed to be the man for Baggies. Malky Mackay, former Celtic boss Neil Lennon and ex-Tottenham head coach Tim Sherwood have also been linked with the job, but Bet 365 are giving odds of 7/2 for Hughton to be the next at the helm.
West Brom endured a relegation battle this season, finishing the campaign in 17th place with 36 points. They won the joint-least amount of games (7) and scored 43 goals.
They are now looking for their third manager in the last 12 months, with Steve Clarke having been in charge this time last year.
