It all began extremely well for Chelsea in the FA Cup final against Arsenal on Saturday. They started as the better team in the contest, took the control of the proceedings and were 1-0 up within five minutes, courtesy of a typically composed finish from Christian Pulisic.
However, the dream soon turned into a nightmare. Captain Cezar Azpilicueta gave his Arsenal counterpart Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a chance to equalize from the spot in the 28th minute, which the latter took. Then Azpilicueta went off injured seven minutes later.
Having already lost their captain and most experienced defender to a hamstring problem, it soon got worse. Less than two minutes into the second half, the same thing happened to Pulisic. He clearly felt the hamstring go several steps before the end of his run, but he bravely kept going and even took a shot.

In the end, Aubameyang put the final touch on the business in the 67th minute and the Gunners emerged triumphant.
