Cicinho eager to know his worth for Roma

Brazilian right-back Cicinho is very anxious to know if AS Roma still considers him a valuable player, for he has been left out from the team’s line-up in a long time now.

The 29-yr old was not included in coach Ranieri’s line up for today’s away match in Livorno too.

Apparently the coach feels that Cicinho has lost his dynamism and form.

“I saw a lack of conviction in him during the week, he is not as dynamic as he seemed from the outside before I joined this club,” he told the Corriere dello Sport.

Cicinho is unhappy with this thought and argues that although he hasn’t completely recovered from his knee operation, he deserves to be given a chance to get back into shape and prove his worth to the team.

After his recovery, the player was called up for the match against CSKA Sofia on October and later then he featured in a friendly. Although he has been called up a number of times after that, he actually never ended up in the field.
