Cigarini rules out Sevilla exit

Sevilla midfielder Luca Cigarini has ruled out leaving the Primera Division side in the January transfer window.

Cigarini has been strongly linked with a return to Italy in January.

“I haven’t had any contact with Brescia,” said Cigarini. “I just want to do well for Sevilla until next June.

“I’m staying here until the end of the season then, seeing as I am only here on loan, I will go back to Napoli before assessing what to do next.”

“Napoli? They are a great team and I got on well with my teammates, the club and the city itself,” he continued.

“I had to leave, but I don’t regret my experience with Napoli and it would be a pleasure to rejoin them.”
