New Major League Soccer season is getting closer to the its start, as the 25th campaign is on the horizon. That is why FC Cincinnati are trying to as much business as possible right now, in order to get their squad up and running on time for the season opener. What we spoke about a couple of days ago now is even closer to getting concluded – Brighton and Hove Albion’s Jurgen Locadia has arrived to Ohio and is set to become team’s new star.
The 26-year-old will join the MLS club on loan and was most recently playing in the Bundesliga for Hoffenheim, as his place at Brighton was not looking good. But not everything is great for Cincinnati – Bild are reporting that they have failed to tempt Bobby Wood to join them from Hamburg SV this winger.
The American striker is out of favour in Germany but Cincinnati’s offer fell well short of the 27-year-old’s wage demands.
