Lazio forward Djibril Cisse has moved to deny reports that he will be leaving the club in January.
The Frenchman joined the Biancocelesti from Panathinaikos in the summer, but he’s had a disappointing start to his career at Olimpico.
The 30-year-old was recently linked with a return to Auxerre, but he has now revealed that he will be staying at Lazio.
“Hi guys I’m hearing a lot of things about me so I gonna clear the situation I’m going to stay at Lazio and show who I really am,” Cisse wrote on Twitter.
“I’m not a quitter I’m a fighter and I will show you all thanks again for the support and I cannot wait to play again.”
Cisse featured in 15 Serie A games this season, but could only muster one goal for the Biancocelesti.
