Metro is reporting that Manchester City and Arsenal are the latest clubs to have been linked with Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.
It is now perfectly clear that the Polish striker will be leaving the Millionaires when his contract expires at the end of the campaign, and it only remains to be seen where he will end up.
Up until recently, it was believed he would join BVB’s arch rivals Bayern Munich, but recent reports have suggested that other high-profile clubs are in the race as well.
While Real Madrid are thought to be considering a move for Lewandowski, Metro understands that Manchester City and Arsenal are also keen.
The Premier League sides have been encouraged by the striker’s recent comments about his preference for England’s elite division, but it is clear that they will have to make a huge effort in order to win the race for the player’s signature.
Manchester City and Arsenal are also locked in the battle for the Premier League title, with Citizens 17/9 favourites at the moment and Gunners priced at 4/1.
