Daily Mail reports that Manchester City are set to sign Serbian defender Matija Nastasic from Fiorentina.
The Citizens are really short of cover at the heart of defence and with Kolo Toure expected to leave this summer, they are desperate to sign another centre-back before the transfer window closes.
According to Daily Mail, the Premier League champions have already agreed to sign Matija Nastasic from Fiorentina.
The same source claims that City have agreed to pay around £8 million for the talented centre-back, while the deal could also see Stefan Savic move the other way on loan or permanent deal.
Matija Nastasic is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Serie A and he has earned rave reviews for his performances last season.
The 19-year-old is already considered a first team regular at Artemio Franchi and has scored 2 goals in 25 Serie A games last term.
