Premier League champions Manchester City have been drawn in the “Group of Death” in this year’s UEFA Champions League.

City will face off against La Liga title winners Real Madrid, Ajax and Borussia Dortmund in the toughest of the eight groups.

Elsewhere for English clubs, Arsenal will face Schalke, Olympiakos and Montpellier, Manchester United will take on Braga, Galatasaray and Cluj, while Chelsea are up against a tough task against Shakhtar and Juventus, with newcomers FC Nordsjaelland completing their group.

Celtic were handed the unenviable task of travelling to the Camp Nou to play Barcelona, with Benfica and Spartak Moscow the other participants in their group.

In Group A, Porto will battle against Dynamo Kiev, Paris Saint-Germain and GNK Dinamo, while Group C sees AC Milan take on Zenit St Petersburg, Anderlecht and Malaga.

Group F features last year’s beaten finalists Bayern Munich against Valencia, Lille and Bate Borisov.
