Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is planning to make a new bid for Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago before the January transfer window closes later today.
Mancini has made the Argentine his main target since replacing Mark Hughes as manager at City.
City reportedly had a bid rejected for Gago last week as Real Madrid are not keen on selling their talented midfielder.
“Manchester City will present a formal offer on Monday and then the decision is up to Real Madrid and we are waiting for the answer,” Gago’s agent, Marcello Lombilla, told the Daily Mirror.
