City players rebel against Mancini
Manchester City players don’t believe Roberto Mancini is capable of getting the best out of the team and they want the Italian to get the sack.
A source close to City dressing room confirmed the players have no respect for Mancini.
“There is hardly a player in the dressing room who has any time for Mancini. The place is a complete mess. There are times when he tries to be a hard man but no one takes any notice.
“Team spirit is falling apart because there is no respect for the manager and some players are even guessing when he could go. They don’t know who they want in, they just want Mancini out.”
Another source said: “The players don’t like his confrontational style. They’re also baffled by him tactically – for example, they couldn’t understand why he brought on defender Pablo Zabaletta for Emmanuel Adebayor instead of striker Jo at Wolves on Saturday.”
Craig Bellamy and Carlos Tevez had previously voiced their concerns regarding Mancini’s treatment of players and it now seems the Italian is counting his last days at Eastlands.

Bayern Munchen closing in on Ligue 1 duo
Bayern Munchen have shown interest in Ligue 1 stars Benoit Tremoulinas and Adil Rami as the Bavarians look to reinforce the squad in January and return to the title race.
Poor defensive performances have been the biggest problem for Louis van Gaal’s side this season and after dropping precarious Martin Demichelis, the Dutch boss was forced to use midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk as centre-back.
With Bayern currently trailing Borussia Dortmund by 10 points in Bundesliga, the club management are desperate to reinforce the squad in January and they seem to have turned to French Ligue 1 in the search for new signings.
Bordeaux’s Benoit Tremoulinas has already welcomed Bayern interest and it looks as though there would be no obstacles to his move to Alianz Arena.
France international centre-back Adil Rami is also tracked by Bayern with the Lille defender seen as the prefect player to patch up team’s shaky defence.
The two targets should be pretty easy to acquire as Tremoulinas is thought to be looking for a new challenge, while Adil Rami would be available at a cut-back price seeing his contract runs out in June.

Juventus set for January shopping spree
Juventus are prepared to spend more cash in January according to reports from Italy as the Bianconeri aim to reinforce their injury-depleted squad.
Paolo De Ceglie and Jorge Martinez were the latest players to pick up serious injuries, with Gigi Buffon, Vicento Iaquinta and Leandro Rinaudo also on the sidelines.
Juventus sporting director, Beppe Marotta, is, therefore, prepared to act and he will be looking to reinforce the side as soon as the transfer window opens.
Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson and Parma’s Christian Zaccardo are just some of the names linked with a move to Olimpico, whereas Edin Dzeko and Antonio Cassano remain Juve’s long-term targets.
On the other hand, Fabio Grosso and Hasan Salihamidzic are widely tipped to leave the club so as to make way for the new arrivals.
