City readying £40 million bid for Aguero

Manchester City are ready to offer £40 million for Atletico Madrid forward Kun Aguero, Daily Mail reports.

After Carlos Tevez expressed his desire to leave Eastlands this summer, Manchester City have started the search for a new striker.

According to the latest reports, the Citizens are hot on the trail of Kun Aguero, who is eager to leave Vicente Calderon.

The Argentine forward was on the verge of joining Juventus, but the Bianconeri have now pulled out of the chase, allowing Manchester City to gain the upper hand.

Atletico were initially holding out for £50 million, but could now settle for £40 million, and Manchester City are prepared to match the asking price.

Roberto Mancini and his squad traveled to pre-season tour to United States, but the Italian is being regularly informed of the latest developments.

Perfect for City i think is the wise choice Aguero and Dzeko will prove perfect chemistry, i think with Sneijder if transferred to City would be a disaster for premiere league clubs to gain upperhand. City day by day i see closing in for the title race and hips of new City fans included in order of new signings wit fans chasing their favourite ultimately leading into City Mania………

they really piss me off with thier big spendings since the club was taken over. they spend 40M here 50M there 30M there like its cool, you can buy all the most expensive players, that is if they wanna play for your club.
Another thing is they keep wanting to sign all the players that Manchester United wants, Both city and Chelsea, i mean didnt chelsea just sign Torres??
What do these club need to achieve their goals??
Keep buying new players and dont let them play together for more then half a season and you will never win anything.
