Manchester City reached the second qualifying round of this season's UEFA Cup with a 2-0 win over part-timers EB/Streymur from the Faroe Islands that gave the Premier League side a 4-0 aggregate victory.
Thursday's win at Barnsley's Oakwell ground ensured City, under new manager Mark Hughes, kept their European campaign going ahead of the start later this month of the English league season.
But it was the part-timers of Streymur who took most of the plaudits in a match where they didn't let in a goal until after half-time.
Martin Petrov scored his second goal of the tie early in the second period but it wasn't until injury time that England striker Darius Vassell made it 2-0 on the night.
