(GSM) – Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli has brushed off reports about a possible move to Milan in the near future.
This morning, Balotelli was released from the San Matteo di Pavia hospital where he underwent a knee surgery. The former Internazionale hitman has attracted interest from Milan, who have said they like the idea of landing him in future.
But ‘SuperMario’ insists he is focused on his new club Manchester City and a return to Italy is not on his mind.
“I am fine, the operation went well. I hope to be back playing as soon as possible,” he told the press.
“Marco Materazzi came to see me, and I imagine my other former Inter team-mates will come to see me at home. A sign that Inter are still tied to me? Yes, I still like them too.
“Milan? This is another thing… I still haven’t played for City. It’s also true that Adriano Galliani sent me messages to wish me a good recovery.”
Milan and Inter will be fighting for the title, and Balotelli expects fireworks.
“Inter are strong, but so are Milan. I don’t think the Rossoneri are superior, but I am expecting a great derby. Maybe I will go to watch it.”?
