(GSM) – Roma sporting director Daniele Prade has revealed that defender Marco Motta could be on his way to Manchester City.

The 23-year-old right-back, who has fallen out of favour with club boss Claudio Ranieri at the Stadio Olimpico, is being linked to a move to the Eastlands as City boss Roberto Mancini is reportedly interested in capturing the Italian.

While, Prade admits a deal could be done, although there are a few possible snags in any potential transfer.

“I spoke with Giuseppe Bozzo, agent of Motta, who confirmed the interest of Manchester City,” he told Sky Italia.

“There is a possibility of a loan but I have not yet spoken with the English club.

“There are some things to consider because the player is in a co-ownership between Roma and Udinese.”
