Manchester City is interested in Bayern Munich fullback Philipp Lahm. City boss Mark Hughes is on the lookout for new defenders to strengthen his back line in January.
The versatile Lahm can play at both fullback positions and still has a contract with Bayern till June 2012.
It`s reported that Hughes has lost his confidence in Micah Richards. The 21-year-old has a price tag of € 11 million and may leave to Sunderland this winter.
