City to hijack Juventus move for Nainggolan

Manchester City have entered the race to sign Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to Belgium newspaper La Derniere Heure.

The 24-year-old has developed into one of the best defensive midfielders in Serie A and everything suggests he will leave Cagliari for a bigger club in the summer.

Nainggolan was on the verge of joining Juventus in January, but the Bianconeri decided to shelve their interest in the player until the summer.

However, the Old Lady could be punished for such a behaviour as Manchester City are ready to steal the highly rated midfielder in front of their noses.

According to La Derniere Heure, the Citizens have already prepared a summer offer for the Belgian international.

This basically means that we could see a real bidding war between the two interested sides in the summer.

Nainggolan has featured in 24 Serie A games for Cagliari and managed to score one goal in the process.
