Right back Danny Fox has become the latest player to leave Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic this January after signing a three and a half year contract with Premiership outfit Burnley. The Clarets have reportedly paid the Hoops somewhere around £1.5m for the 23 year old’s services.
Winsford born Fox learnt his trade at Everton’s youth academy and had a loan stint with Stanraer before moving to Walsall in 2005. He made over a hundred appearances for the Hornets before transferring to Coventry City in January 2008. After a year and a half with the Sky Blues , Fox was on the move again, this time signing for Celtic in July 2009.
Fox played for England at U-21 level but opted to play for Scotland at senior level. He made his international debut last November against Wales.
