Bournemouth star and his partner Rachel lost a child – Renee – who was tragically delivered stillborn in December 2015 and the pair are once again expecting.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola showed pure class when he took time to approach the Bournemouth midfielder after the Monday’s game to offer his condolences for the loss of their previous child and extend his best wishes on the upcoming birth.
Harry Arter was touched by this move.
“It was an unbelievable touch. He is someone I have massive amount of respect for. For me, he is the best manager in the world and for him to offer that to me, I respected it and accepted it with a smile on my face”
