Israel traveled to cold and windy Scotland for their UEFA Nations League clash this week.

It ended up being a disappointing trip as Israel lost 3-2 in their final group game in the League C but their team will be remembered for an act of kindness and class displayed ahead of the match.

On a very cold night at Hampden Park match mascots were made to walk out on the pitch in just their t-shirts and shorts but Israeli players kept them warm by removing their jackets and wrapping the youngsters during the anthem.

It is a truly lovely detail which speaks plenty of class.
