Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier has rejected the opportunity to join Fenerbahce, according to SFR Sport.
The highly rated footballer returned to Parc OL this summer as AS Roma opted against purchasing his contract and he has now entered the final year of his deal.
But, while Turkish giants Fenerbahce expressed their interest in his services, Grenier has decided to remain with les Gones.
The 26-year-old wants to stay with Lyon until the end of the season and leave the club on a free transfer.
Bar the loan stint with AS Roma, Grenier spent the entire career so far with les Gones, scoring 14 goals in 115 Ligue 1 appearances.
