Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley admits that he has a long way to go before he reaches his full potential.
The 22-year-old impressed in a loan spell at Wigan last season but has managed just five appearances in the Premier League so far this campaign after being plagued by foot and ankle injuries.
The Red Devils man has not managed to score any goals in his limited appearances this season, which is something he is aiming to improve.
“I’ve got a lot to learn,” Cleverley told MUTV.
“I’m still working a lot with Rene (Meulensteen) and Mike (Phelan) on the training ground.”
“There are aspects of my game I want to improve. I want to start getting on the scoresheet. Even though I was playing well (at the start of the season), I feel like there’s more (to come).”
“I like getting in the box and coming late on the edge of the box and that’s just the one thing that I feel is missing.”
Cleverley is set to return to the field for Sunday’s Premier League clash with West Brom.
