The management of Mexican side Club America have decided to put every single player on the transfer list.

One of the most famous football teams in Mexico have been utterly disappointing this season, finishing the Apertura championship in 17th place.

The dismal showings have prompted the club management to put their entire squad up for sale.

“The Club America announces that its club management have met and decided, after studying the results of the Apertura championship, to place all the players on the transfer list,” read the statement on club’s official website.

The current situation in the club is likely to alert numerous European clubs that have shown interest in several Club America players.

Ecuadorian striker Cristian Benitez, former Schalke forward Vicente Sanchez and youngster Diego Reyes could be the first ones to leave.
