Club Brugge are getting a big name signing in the last days of the transfer window! The Belgian club is set to sign Victor Wanyama from Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Sky Sports. Spurs midfielder is close to making a move to Belgium, as the two clubs have agreed upon a transfer fee, which will be set at £12m.
The 28-year-old has yet to play for Tottenham this season and he is now expected to leave the club before the transfer deadline, which for most European leagues ends on Monday. During his stay in North London, Wanyama has made 93 appearances for Tottenham, since joining from Southampton in three years ago. With the arrival of Tanguy Ndomele and Giovani Lo Celso, there was not much need for Wanyama to stay at Spurs, especially after his numerous injuries.
Club Brugge will therefore be getting a good signing for their Champions League campaign, playing in Group A against Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray.
