(GSM) – Club Brugge failed to fully capitalize on Anderlecht’s dropped points as they were held to a 1-1 draw of their own by Gent on Sunday.
Brugge had a chance to move within six points after Anderlecht were held 1-1 by Sint-Truiden on Friday, but they could not hang on late against the side they will see in the Belgian Cup final.
Brugge did snatch the lead in the 14th minute when Nabil Dirar found the back of the net, and it appeared that would be enough on this day as the match progressed.
But, in second half stoppage time, Elimane Coulibaly snatched a point and an equalizer when he scored to make it 1-1.
