Clubs circle round Loftus-Cheek

Chelsea are set for fresh interest in Reuben Loftus-Cheek when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the Mirror.

Both Crystal Palace and Schalke have been linked with a move for the England international, who is still struggling to hold down a regular first-team spot at Stamford Bridge under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

The twenty-two-year-old has made just three appearances in the league this season – all of which coming as a substitute and while he has started regularly in Europe and featured in the EFL Cup he could be set to move in order to get more game time.

He spent last term on loan at Palace – racking up twenty-four appearances in all competitions and scoring two goals so could welcome a return to Selhurst Park, though he may well be inspired by the impact international teammate Jadon Sancho has had in the Bundesliga and opt for a move abroad.
