Nathaniel Clyne could be set to spurn the chance to move to Manchester United and pen a new deal at Southampton, according to the Metro.
The full-back has been strongly linked with a summer transfer away from the south coast with Old Trafford seemingly the most likely of a number of potential destinations.
Chelsea and Liverpool have also been linked with a move for the former Crystal Palace man, who has been one of the stand-out performers in an impressive season for Ronald Koeman’s side.
The 24 year old has played thirty-seven times in all competitions, scoring three goals, and earned his first of four full England caps in a 3-1 friendly win over Scotland back in November.
The Saints drew 2-2 with fellow top six hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur at St Mary’s on Saturday afternoon, and can now be backed at a price of 5/6 to finish in the European qualification places.
