“I am led to believe it is very close now to Nathaniel signing so that doesn’t worry me that one,” Hodgson insisted at Wednesday’s press conference.
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has made it clear that he believes Nathaniel Clyne will be signing a new contract with the club.
Clyne made his return to Selhurst Park back in October with his initial deal taking him through until the end of January, but now, he is on the verge of extending his stay even further.
It’s safe to say the Eagles haven’t had the best season up to this point but they still have a plethora of talented first teamers to their name – and Clyne is one of them. Whether or not he is going t be the catalyst behind some sort of almighty change within the club remains to be seen, but the potential is most certainly there for all to see.
