Werder Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf and sporting director Klaus Allofs have extended their contracts with the Bundesliga club.
Schaaf has put pen to paper on a new deal that will see him stay in Bremen until 2014.
Allofs, meanwhile, has extended his contract until 2015, with an option for a further year.
“We are very happy that this proven duo will continue to lead us,” Werder supervisory chairman Willi Lemke said.
“It’s a beautiful day for Thomas and me,” Allofs said.
Schaaf and Allofs have enjoyed an extended relationship with Bremen. Both played for the club in the 1990s, and have worked in their current positions ever since 1999.
After coming under pressure for their team’s performance in 2010-11, the pair have taken them to fifth place in the Bundesliga at the mid-season point of this campaign.
