Bundesliga outfit FC Cologne ( Koln) have completed the signing of Brazilian defender Andrezinho from Vitoria Guimarães. The 28 year old, whose real name is André Ricardo Soares, has signed a two year contract with Cologne.
Andrezinho started his career with Mineiros in his native Brazil and played for São Raimundo, Vila Nova, Goiás and Coritiba before moving to Portugal and joining Vitoria in 2007.
Cologne finished 13th in the Bundesliga last season. Andrezinho is the second Brazilian defender in the club’s ranks- 24 year old Pedro Geromel, also signed from Vitoria in 2008, also plies his trade for the Billy Goats.
