Colombia have done themselves a great favor this Saturday, beating Bolivia 2-0 in a World Cup qualifier.

The Colombians were particularly dominant in the first half and took the lead through Macnelly Torres, who struck home from the edge of the penalty area in the 26th minute.

More goals could have been scored but striker Radamel Falcao wasted several opportunities.

A second goal was added late on, as Wason Renteria headed home from a Hugo Rodallega cross. Bolivia called for off-side and José Castillo picked up a second yellow card for protesting.

Colombia are now in sixth place, ahead of Ecuador who host Brazil on Sunday. Bolivia are currently ninth.
