Looking to capitalize on LA Galaxy’s continued issues, a resurgent Colorado will welcome the former champions to Denver in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Starting with the hosts, putting in yet another eye-catching display in their 2-0 victory over a high-flying Seattle last weekend, Colorado have surprised many with their recent resurge. Also building off of their victory over the Red Bulls at the start of September, it will undoubtedly be their continued performances on home soil most impressing new Head Coach Robin Fraser. Really starting to shine since their former midfielder took charge in Denver, the Rapids have now won each of their last three matches at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and the mood in their camp is the highest it has been in recent memory.

As for the visitors, while the confidence in Colorado’s camp might be on the rise, the same cannot be said for a struggling LA Galaxy outfit. With pressure really starting to mount on Head Coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto, the Whites have now lost their spot in the top-seven and have failed to win any of their last four outings. A huge part of the former champions continued issues at the back end of the season has come down to their woeful displays outside of California. Losing six of their last seven matches on the road, LA have also remarkably failed to secure an away victory since the 23rd of June.
