Competition: MLS
Market: Colorado Rapids win
Odds: 9/5 @ Bet 365
Looking to carry on their impressive record against The Dynamo’s, Anthony Hudson’s Colorado side will welcome Houston to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Starting with Anthony Hudson’s Colorado side, although The Rapids are enduring another difficult season in the West and last weeks 2-1 loss away at Montreal means that the hosts have now lost 11 of their last 14 in all competitions, The Rapids do hold an impressive record against Houston. The Rapids have only lost one of their last 10 meetings with Houston when they’re playing at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. One man in particular to watch will be forward Dominique Badji, the 25-year-old is Colorado’s top scorer and also found the net last time out.
As for Wilmer Cabrera’s Houston side, although a win on Sunday could see The Dynamo’s jump back into the playoffs, the visitors biggest issue this season has been their form on the road. In fact, aside from a 3-3 win over Chicago Fire in May, Cabrera’s side have not won any of their other nine matches away from the BBVA Compass Stadium, a run that stems all teh way back to February. Along with a poor away record, Houston have also shown some defensive issues as of late, despite coming off the back of a 3-0 win, they have now shipped two or more goals in three of their last four.
