Colorado Rapids are closing in on Ivorian striker Yannick Boli, according to the official website of Major League Soccer.
The 30-year-old was surprisingly allowed to leave Dalian Yifang despite producing 16 goals and 5 assists on the road to promotion last term.
A free agent since February, Boli is ready for a fresh challenge and latest reports suggest he is set to be offered a contract by Colorado Rapids.
The MLS side only scored 31 goals in 34 league matches last term and they could really use the services of a proven goalscorer.
Yannick Boli had begun his career at Paris Saint-Germain, and went on to enjoy successful spells with Nimes, Chernomorets, Zorya Lugansk, Anzhi and Dalian Yifang.
