According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Bayern Munich have ruled out selling Kingsley Coman during the January transfer window.
The Champions League hero was believed to be on a shortlist for a loan move away from the German giants with Manchester United being one of the primary interested parties. This would’ve been done in place of a deal for Jadon Sancho, with Coman’s stock rising significantly in recent months thanks to his aforementioned success in Europe.
Alas, Bayern appear to have changed their tune, and they are now moving in the direction of keeping Coman on the books. Whether or not Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will push forward with a big bid remains to be seen, but based on what he’s been doing in the transfer market ever since he arrived at Old Trafford, you would have to think the club isn’t exactly going to be short on cash in January.
