Confident Cavenaghi pushes Girondins

Girondins de Bordeaux are full of belief that they can win the Ligue 1 title this season according to top scorer Fernando Cavenaghi.

“We know that it will not be easy to dethrone Lyon,” he told Football365. “They are a team of great experience, which will help them get through their recent run of results when they have started to lose a little. We must work hard and take each game with the same kind of desire.”

With 12 goals to his credit, Cavenaghi is joint top scorer in Ligue 1 along with André-Pierre Gignac of Toulouse.
