According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Roma are looking at two primary candidates to take over as their new manager during the summer transfer window: Maurizio Sarri and Antonio Conte. Roma are still going in search of a permanent replacement for Eusebio di Francesco, but at this moment in time, it doesn’t appear as if they’ve got anyone specifically linked up. Maurizio Sarri is currently busy with Chelsea but the majority of fans don’t believe he will last at Stamford Bridge beyond the current season. Conte, on the other hand, has been out of a job since he was replaced by Sarri at the Blues – with Roma serving as a very realistic destination for him.
Either would be risky yet intriguing hires for Roma, who are attempting to get back to the heights they achieved when they reached the Champions League semi-finals.
The question is: who would be better suited to that role?
