Conte set for Inter Milan

According to recent reports from Sky Sports, Antonio Conte is said to be closing in on the Inter Milan job. Conte has been without a club since leaving Chelsea last year, with many fans expecting him to get back in the game much sooner than he actually has done. The Italian is still quite young when it comes to the world of management, and given how much success he’s already enjoyed, it shouldn’t be too hard to get another job – which did indeed seem to be the case when he was being heavily linked to Roma.

Conte came out and stated that he wasn’t interested in the Roma move at this moment in time, though, with Inter instead catching his eye. The club are only going to sack Luciano Spalletti if they can guarantee that Conte will be making his way to the San Siro, though, as they continue to go in search of Champions League football next season.
