Conte set for Tottenham talks

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Antonio Conte is heading to London to hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur today.

The belief is that talks are already in the final stages with discussions continuing on Monday, highlighting that this proposed move has likely been in the pipeline for a while now. It comes just hours after it was announced that Nuno Espirito Santo had officially been relieved of his duties as manager of the club.

There needed to be a big change in North London after the embarrassment of the Manchester United loss and now, it appears as if the second half of that plan is about to be put into motion.

Whether or not it leads to a more promising future for Spurs, though, is still up in the air, especially when you consider how much will have to change in order to get them back to their attacking best.
