According to a report from Tuttosport, Antonio Conte could be in line to be the next Inter Milan manager. The report suggests that Luciano Spalletti’s position is currently at risk due to the club’s poor form, with the higher ups behind the scenes even getting in contact with Conte to discuss the possibility of him signing. Conte has been without a club since leaving Chelsea last year, although he’s still been in the headlines with many different clubs around Europe being linked with a move for the Italian.
The 49 year old already has a strong resume and would seem to be a great selection for any side that he decides to manage, but there is Spalletti to consider here too. It would appear as if Inter aren’t all that interested in giving him too much time to turn things around, and if that’s the case, they’d probably be better off making the change sooner rather than later.
