Inter Milan are working hard on signing Arturo Vidal from Barcelona this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Having appointed Antonio Conte as their new head coach, they are committed to building a team to his design, and Vidal, who used to play under Conte at Juventus several years ago, is one of his wishes in that aspect. The Nerazzurri have completed the signing of midfielder Stefano Senci on loan from Sassuolo, and they’re currently working on bringing in Nicolo Barella too.
However, Sport believe that the question of whether Vidal leaves Camp Nou or not will have to be resolved quickly, with Barcelona keen to know as soon as possible if they need to acquire a replacement for the experienced Chilean.
Vidal would be arriving to Inter as a replacement himself, with Conte apparently unwilling to work with Radja Nainggolan, who may be leaving for China before the transfer window is closed.
