Manchester City’s attempt at winning the quadruple this season took a serious test on Saturday when they found themselves two goals down in their FA Cup clash with Championship side Swansea within 30 minutes.
However, they came back to win in the end, but there was no shortage of controversy. Bernardo Silva’s goal halved the Swans’ lead in the 59th minute, before Sterling’s fall with the opponent getting the ball prompted referee Andre Marriner to award City a 78th-minute penalty.

It wasn’t the end of the officials’ erroneous evening, however, as Sergio Aguero’s 88th-minute winner, scored from an offside position, was allowed to stand.
