(GSM) – Brazilian side Goias and Argentinean outfit Independiente are through to the semi finals of the Copa Sudamericana.
Goias played away to Avai in an all-Brazilian quarter final tie, of which the first leg ended in a 2-2 draw.
The only goal in the return leg came in the last minute of the first half, as Rafael Moura directing the ball past the opposing goalkeeper to hand Goias a 3-2 aggregate win.
In Argentina meanwhile, a goalless draw was enough for Independiente to eliminate Colombia’s Deportes Tolima on away goals. The first leg ended 2-2.
Goias and Independiente join Palmeiras of Brazil and Ecuador’s Liga de Quito in the semi finals.
