Correa heading for AC Milan

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Angel Correa has decided to join AC Milan ahead of a potential switch to either Tottenham Hotspur or Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Atletico Madrid star is on the verge of moving there for a fee that is believed to be worth around £35 million which, in itself, is  a pretty big statement of intent. Correa is one of the most intriguing stars in European football today, which we can only imagine is the primary reason behind AC Milan going after him as much as they have been. While it seemed like talks had supposedly stalled not so long ago, now, we’re very much in a position where it just seems like a matter of time until Correa is officially a Milan player.

The word ‘initial’ in regards to the fee, though, certainly leads us to believe that there are going to be add-ons introduced into this deal in the not so distant future. Whether or not that becomes a reality remains to be seen.
