Costa set for Chelsea stay

Diego Costa has insisted that he is staying at Chelsea amid reports that he is unhappy at Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Star.

The Spain international has recently been linked with a return to former club Atletico Madrid, though he has said that he has no intentions to move.

Despite continuing to struggle with an ongoing hamstring problem, Costa scored twenty-one goals in his debut season in England, all but one of which came in the league to help the Blues clinch their first title in five years.

That other goal was the second in his side’s 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup final at Wembley back in March.

Prior to his move to London, the striker won both La Liga and the Copa del Rey with Atletico Madrid, while his last game for the club was the 2013/14 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.
