Costa set for Wolves move

According to a recent report from Fabrizio Romano, Diego Costa’s work permit application has officially been accepted.

Over the course of the last few days we’ve heard rampant speculation linking the Brazilian forward with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers, giving him a chance to return to English football after making such a mark with Chelsea.

The 33-year-old may no longer be in his prime but he’s the kind of player who can flip a game on its head in the blink of an eye, and he’s ready to prove that at Molineux.

He’s currently set for a medical later today in order to see where his fitness levels are at and if he passes everything with flying colours, he could be lining up for the boys from the Black Country as soon as this or next week.

Costa has been targeted after Sasa Kalajdzic was ruled out for the foreseeable future due to an ACL injury he picked up against Southampton.
