According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Leeds United are said to be in advanced talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers over the possible signing of Helder Costa. The belief has been for a while that he would be making the jump on a loan basis, but it seems as if Leeds are also open to the possibility of bringing him in on a permanent basis. Costa played an integral role in helping Wolves to gain promotion from the Championship a few years ago, but since being promoted to the Premier League, he has been unable to recapture the kind of consistent form that put him on the map in the first place. Now, it seems as if he’s destined to return to the league in which he first made a name for himself in English football – the Championship.
Either way, though, it’ll be seen as a bit of a blow for Wolves who need more bodies in their squad ahead of their Europa League campaign.
