Costa wants Corinthians move

According to a recent report from Evening Standard, Diego Costa is eager to reunite with former Chelsea teammate Willian at Corinthians.

There had been speculation that Costa was wanted by, of all people, Arsenal. The Gunners noted their interest in the Spanish international and were seemingly ready to make a move but in the end, that hasn’t come to fruition.

Costa is now looking towards an extended stay in Brazil at Corinthians where, as previously noted, he’d be linking up with Willian.

Costa’s tenure in the Premier League has been well-documented after his overwhelming success with the Blues. However, at this stage in his career, many wonder whether or not he’s still the same striker he once was.

For a few months he could be a great signing if he’s given the time to grow and while he’s favouring Corinthians, there are still a few weeks left for Arsenal to persuade him otherwise.
