(GSM) – Brazilian starlet Douglas Costa would like to play for Manchester United. The winger, who was reportedly monitored by Manchester United for two years, joined Shakhtar Donetsk only in January.
Sir Alex Ferguson and his scouts had failed with a bid to take him on loan last summer and Costa has penned a five-year deal with the Ukrainians, which started last January.
However, United are understood to be following Costa with interest and reports suggest Sir Alex Ferguson could be tempted to move for the former Gremio star.
On his part, the 19-year-old admits a move to Old Trafford would be a very attractive choice for him.
“If I had the choice, I would still like to play for United,” he is quoted by the News of the World
